Hi;

Just a short thank you note to let you know how well I have found the Lite Bite Slide Divers have worked for me this summer.

First purchased them in I think May and used them in June and early July on Lake Ontario out of Port Hope, Ontario, Canada. They worked great for another line when the fish were in the top 30 feet. Did really well catching both Salmon and Rainbow Trout with them.

When I came home to Brockville I used them on the St. Lawrence River to catch Smallmouth Bass and Walleye as the preferred depth for these fish when trolling is 25 feet.

Thanks again for a great product and they stand up to the hard use of charter fishing after the right tensions are found.

After 5 days of running the new Lite Bite Slide Diver in the W. Basin for walleyes I will never again run regular Dipsys.

They work wonderfully....and if you haven't checked 'em out yet..do yourself a favor and take a look.

We ran spoons behind 'em on 10' leads and they worked great. Ran 2 per side at times, one on 2, the other on 4, and not once tangled them up. We ran a pair on braid and a pair on 20# mono and they performed equally well. We ran the clear versions at speeds from 1.8mph up to 3.0mph on the Depth Raider.

Even the smallest of white perch, yellow perch, yearling walleyes, etc. tripped the release. Hookups were solid, with few missed fish.

I'm not affiliated with them in any way, shape, or form...I just wanted to pass along our experience with this product. Bye bye Dipsey divers...

A bulgy brown that hit a lemon/lime FlutterDevele fished on a Lite Bite Slide Diver when the going got tough on 5/13/08.
Lite Bite Slide Divers
One of the presentations that worked for us on 5/13/08 in the bright sun when spoons on the riggers and boards quit working was a lemon/lime Flutterdevle fished about 20' behind a Lite Bite Slide Diver with 30' of braided line between the diver and the rod tip. We've been fishing Lite Bite's all spring, and they now have a permanent place in the Fish Doctor arsenal.

Randy, we have been using the Lite-Bite all April & so
far in May. They just work great. We rigged 1 on mono
& 1 on Power Pro & we really love them. Set-up in
moments & both my partner & I have been raving about
them to all our members at the GLSF Milwaukee chapter.
Thanks for the update & congrats on a great product. I
do hope, in time, the price will come down some. We
have stuck 2 into bottom or rock & lost 2 already. Ha
Ha   Good news for you but not so good for us!!!????

Letter Dated 04/30/2008

Hi Randy,

We had an offshore coho and steelhead bite this weekend that was an
ideal opportunity to test out my new slide diver lite bites.  Cookie
cutter sized fish in that 2.5 to 6lb
class up in the top 25 feet of the water column.  I was able to stretch
my baits back 40 to 60' and adjust my settings light.  It was a
perfect presentation and the lite bites worked exactly as advertised.
Never missed a bite,  I was very pleased and look forward to working
with them all season.  "Great Product"

“As a charter captain for the past 10 years, and working in the charter fishing industry for the last 25 years, I have seen depth-controlled fishing devices come and go.  One that revolutionized how we currently fish, the Slidediver, and one that will take this style of fishing to the next level, will be the next-generation Slidediver, known as the Lite-Bite.  I have had the privilege to field test these devices over the past several months, working them into my “deep-fishing” program.  As Lake Michigan has become clearer due to the zebra mussel, fishermen have had to find new methods to target deeper fish without spooking them in the clear water.  Wire divers have become standard in this style of fishing, but to have the ability now to fish deep and put your bait-set as far back from the planer device as you want, the Lite-Bite is amazing.  In addition to this, having it release on the smallest fish now saves the few rods that I can fish deep from becoming non-productive or spooking fish from my spread.  The Lite-Bite pretty much eliminates the need to run through my diver spread to check for small fish.  No more wondering how long a “shaker” has been hanging on a diver rod during the “hot-bite”.  The Lite-Bite has truly become a “smart-diver”, knowing when to release on the smallest fish, but remain running true and not releasing in rough water conditions.

“My name is Captain Patrick J. Kalmerton and I am one of the owners of Wolf Pack Adventures which is a four season hunting and fishing business out of Sheboygan Wisconsin.  We fish all over the Midwest during certain times of the year.  We go walleye fishing in the spring down on Lake Erie, and on the bay of Green Bay.  We muskie fish all over Minnesota and Wisconsin during the fall.  We also run charters out of Sheboygan Wisconsin for trout and salmon.  The reason for this letter is to credit you on one of the most versatile and valuable pieces of equipment that our business has come across in the matter of putting fish in the boat.  The Lite Bite Slide Diver, we have found, can be used in many different ways.  It runs true, even going slow speeds when row trolling for that elusive muskie,  when motor trolling is not allowed.  On the other hand, it does not skip out of the water when you run it as an outside diver on an outside turn doing sometimes speeds up to 3.5 to 4.0 miles per hour for those ski-jumping rainbow trout.  There is a couple other things I like about the Lite Bite Slide Diver and they are:  You can set the front screw so in rough water they will still run true, but keep the back screw loose so just the slightest extra weight makes it trip.  I was in shallow water in August and I did not see the bait hitting bottom and the diver kept tripping and every time there were weeds on the hooks.  On other divers I know I would have been dragging those weeds for a long time.  The fact you can have a diver that runs true in the water in all conditions, that you can adjust the lead from the diver to the bait to whatever length you want it at, you can troll as fast or as slow as you would like, and that if anything hits that bait, small fish, weeds, even if you snag a dead baitfish, if that back screw is set right the Lite Bite Slide Diver will trip!  That is a piece of art and I thank you for helping me put more fish in the boat from walleyes to muskies to trout and salmon and even perch at times for my clients that depend on me to catch them fish, I again say thank you.

“First of all let me say “THANK YOU”  for allowing us to try out the new “Lite Bite Slide Diver”.

The new diver works awesome in beautiful calm water conditions and also the bumpiest of rough water conditions, that are possible to be safely fished in.  The Lite Bite seems to have a mind of it’s own, because it lets you know that there’s a “FISH ON!”, especially rough water.  No matter how big or small the fish is, the Lite Bite trips open and all you have to do is reel the fish in.”

Sincerely,

Captain Glen Gildemeister
